How we manage the team supply.
We want holders to know how much supply the team controls and what those tokens are intended for.
How GONYC launches
GONYC launches on StonkFun. StonkFun launches run on a bonding curve, which means the token starts trading without a preloaded liquidity pool and the price moves as people buy and sell along the curve.
At launch the team buys around 15% of the supply in one transaction. That is the only supply the team wallet ever holds. The rest of the supply stays on the bonding curve, open for anyone to buy.
What happens to the rest
The remaining supply is not kept by us. It trades on the curve until the curve raises its target amount. When that happens the token graduates automatically: the unsold supply and the funds raised move into a Raydium liquidity pool, and from there GONYC trades on the open market like any other token.
Our commitment
We will not sell or rug from team wallets. These wallets are mainly used for burning airdrops and development in small amounts.
How the team supply is split
The team bought around 15% of supply at launch. The team keeps 3%. The rest is reserved for development and growth. The remaining 85% trades on the bonding curve and moves to Raydium after graduation.
What the rest is for
Of the supply the team bought at launch, 3% of total supply is fixed for the team. The remaining development and growth share is used as GETONYC grows. This may include tools, partnerships, and community rewards.
Why this matters
Clear wallet information lets holders see how the supply is managed and hold us to what we have said.
